Hello Sisters!

Let's raise a tea cup to the fourth anniversary of the Mamma Mia Sisterhood! Please join us for a special pre-Mother's Day gathering with afternoon tea at the Ritz-Carlton in Buckhead. We'll honor our mothers and share friendship and support with each other. If you've never attended a Mamma Mia Sisterhood meeting, this is the perfect occasion to meet your sisters! Afternoon tea at the Ritz-Carlton is our annual tradition on the day before Mother's Day.

We will share casual group discussion on mother loss and especially any issues that come up around Mother's Day. During our meeting, we'll also have "show and tell" if you'd like to share photos or mementos of your mother.

Look for us in the semi-private Lenox Room near the Lobby Bar. The full afternoon tea menu will be available, but you are not obligated to purchase anything. Simply having your company will be a pleasure. (Valet parking is complimentary with any dining room purchases.)

See you soon, Sisters, and keep smiling!

Cheers,
Leslie

Hi Sisters, I recommend using the valet for parking at the hotel. We will get validations to make that free. Just bring a couple bucks for a tip. Other parking options in the area may be available, but self parking will not be validated by the hotel. See you tomorrow!

Could someone post parking instructions in case we don't use the valet? I have no clue what to do and where to park when we get there!!! :) Thanks!

I was so glad I went. I truly believe I was able to make it through Mother's Day as "easily" as I did because I went to the meetup. If I hadn't, I would've had a MUCH tougher time. And to think, I almost didn't go because I was afraid of facing it. It was great to meet some new people, pass around pictures, laugh a LOT, and talk about the good memories - not just the sad parts.
    •  I really enjoyed meeting every one. And the stress that I have been feeling and taking out on every one is gone. It helped to hear everyone's stories. It really helped to be able to share mine. I had forgotten how much I needed to talk about my mom. Whether she has been gone a little while or a long while, you cant hold it in. I really feel like I made some new friends. And you can never have to many friends. Thank You All. Donna

This was the fourth annual Pre-Mother's Day tea I have attended with the Mamma Mia Sisterhood. I think this one had the most participants. It was nice having a separate table and a private room for our event; however, because of the layout at the table it was hard to talk to all of the ladies and hear what was being said. But, otherwise, it was a nice setting and very enjoyable afternoon.
