Groovy Team Trivia with the Mamma Mias Hello Sisters! July's team trivia night was so popular that we've decided to do it again! Shake your booty over to Mellow Mushroom Pizza in Brookhaven for a groovy night playing team trivia with the foxiest team of all -- The Mamma Mia Sisterhood. Mamma Mias will meet at 7:30 pm and get to know each other, and then the game begins at 8:00 pm. We'll chat about issues that you may be dealing with casually throughout the night. Just sharing each others' company and providing friendly support makes a difference. We'll also have "show and tell" if you'd like to share photos or mementos of your mother. Don't worry if you're not a trivia brainiac. The tunes will be jammin', and pizza and drinks will of course be available for ordering. Mellow Mushroom has lots of parking, and it's just across the street from the Brookhaven MARTA station. Be there or be square! See you soon, Sisters, and keep smiling! Cheers,

The Mamma Mia Roadtrip -- Oktoberfest in Helen Hello Sisters! Join us for the first-ever Mamma Mia roadtrip! We'll spend the day in the Alpine village of Helen, Georgia, at their famous Oktoberfest! Polka music, charming shops, bratwurst, beer and the Chicken Dance are calling us, Sisters! Read all about it at: http://www.helencham ber.com/oktoberfest.htm Admission is free on Sundays, but you'll be responsible for your own food, drinks and purchases. The Mamma Mias will provide carpools and silly girl fun and companionship. We'll meet at the Kroger parking lot (Peachtree at 25th St.) at 10:00 am, and then we'll carpool to Helen, about a 1 hour and 45-minute drive. We'll have all the German fun we can have until 5:00pm, and then head back to Atlanta, arriving by 7:00pm. If the entire group decides to stay longer in Helen, we can do that, too. The Mamma Mia September Park Picnic Hello Sisters! The weather may be cooling off, but the Mamma Mias are hotter than ever! Our summer trivia and happy hour events were big hits, and many new members joined our sisterhood. This month, let's bid farewell to summer with a casual picnic. We'll meet in the meadow at Piedmont Park, which is the big open space near Park Tavern at 10th St. and Monroe. Look for the pink balloons, where we'll have drinks and light refreshments. Call my cell phone at 404.202.9477 if you have trouble finding us. Feel free to bring frisbees or any other fun outdoor stuff. Rack 'Em Up with the Mamma Mias Hello Sisters! What can I say about July's team trivia outing? We had a great time, and the Mamma Mias rock at trivia! Let's see if our expertise and competitive spirit extend to shooting pool. Join us this month for a cold beer, conversation and pool at Twain's in Decatur. We'll meet at 6:30 pm, get to know each other, and chat about any mother loss issues that you may be dealing with. Then, those who want to play pool, darts, shuffleboard or foosball may indulge as long as they like. Just sharing each others' company and providing friendly support makes a difference. Let's raise a glass and toast The Mamma Mia Sisterhood! Please join us for a casual Sunday happy hour at the Brick Store Pub on Decatur Square. We'll honor our mothers and share friendship and support with each other. We will share casual group discussion on mother loss and any issues that are coming up for you. During our meeting, we'll also have "show and tell" if you'd like to share photos or mementos of your mother. The Brick Store Pub features a variety of international and specialty beers, as well as a full menu of great food. Service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is friendly. Hello Sisters! I'm the new organizer of this group, and I'm excited to merge with The Mamma Mia Sisterhood. There will not be a meeting in March, but our April meeting will be at Piedmont Park in the meadow near 10th St. & Monroe Dr. Look for the pink balloons, or call me at 404.202.9477.
