I lost my mother at the young age of 8. Now, 24 years later, I still find that this loss creeps up in moments when I least expect it. No one can really relate. They think I "can't get over it."

Hello, my name is Latanya I am 29 years old and I lost my mother to Breast Cancer 11 years ago on June 26, 1996 when I was 17 years old. Now I have 2 daughter ages 1 and 10 and I wish she was here to see them.

    • New Greeting for
Holly ? the founder of our group. I do not even know how to express in words what this woman has done for me and how she has helped me during a time I thought I would never make it through. What I can say is that she is an incredible human-being. She is one of the most inspiring women I have ever met and I feel I am lucky to consider her a mentor and a friend. She taught me how to find my way through my grief and for that I will be forever grateful. Thank you Holly, for everything.

Jeanette was the 2nd woman I met in the group back in May 06? and we have been friends ever since. If you ever wish you had someone you could lean on or call no matter the day or time then you need not look further than her. I do not know where I would be today if it weren?t for Jeanette. I am so very grateful and honored to call her my friend.
