Hi I'm Jessica, 26. My family and I moved to Duluth about a month and a half ago from Southern California. My mom passed away when I was about 7, but I never got to know her because I was sent to live with my grandparents when I was 3-1/2.

I lost my mom, Berta, just before Mother's Day, May 2000. I was in Europe and could not make it back to the U.S. before she passed, but my father and 7 siblings were with her. She was a beautiful Panamanian woman who touched countless lives.

I am 29 years old, my mom passed away in 2001. She past away from a combination of lung cancer and heart failure. She was in the worst pain, and it was the hardest thing in the world to let her go! I look forward to meeting others in this group!

I am a 35 year old mother of 1 beautiful 3 year old daughter. I lost my mother when I was 5 and didn't realize how much her death impacted me until recently. I'm hoping to connect with other women who have dealt with the same things in life.
