Inspired by the same book title, Motherless Daughters, this group is committed to bringing together motherless daughters by encouraging healing among them, providing insight and compassion and offering strength and hope through promoting awareness about the long-lasting effects of such a loss. I decided to start this group because I know too well the heartache of losing one's Mom. I lost mine over a year ago and the grieving process has been a challenging one filled with many ups and downs. The purpose of the group is to provide support and encouragement to others who have lost their Moms.
