Inspired by the same book title, Motherless Daughters, this group is committed to bringing together motherless daughters by encouraging healing among them, providing insight and compassion and offering strength and hope through promoting awareness about the long-lasting effects of such a loss. The group consists primarily of local girls and women who have endured early mother loss, and is also open to those who live outside of the immediate area. We meet to celebrate our mothers and support each other. The group is open to women of all ages who have lost their mothers and would like to meet with others who understand their loss.

If you are struggling with a recent loss of a partner, parent, friend, or loved one, and find yourself still dealing with the shock of unexpected grief, you might benefit from seeking support from others who can relate. This Support Group begins December 1st and 5pm, and will be an ongoing group (every first and third Thursday of each month). This is an open group with a 5 session commitment. A 30 minute initial group assessment with the group facilitator is required in order to attend the grou …
